Our Staff

Our court maintenance team takes pride in providing well-maintained, top-notch courts for your enjoyment. With attention to detail and expertise in court care, they create the ideal playing environment, whether you prefer clay or hard courts.

Meet the Village Glen Team
Tracy Irving
General Manager
Tracy Irving, General Manager
Starting as a front desk receptionist in 1997, Tracy’s determination led her to excel. She seamlessly transitioned to back-office tasks, managing filing, mailings, and memberships. By 1999, she handled daily processing and contract court responsibilities, showcasing her dedication.
Undaunted by challenges, Tracy pursued excellence, taking on billing, bank reconciliations, and Front Desk Manager Duties. Her trajectory culminated in becoming Assistant Tennis Director for Village Glen and South Towns Tennis Clubs in 2008.
A twenty-year tenure forged enduring friendships with colleagues, pros, and members. Tracy discovered tennis’ magic, leading a USTA 2.5 women’s league to Sectionals in 2008. A 3.5-level player, she captained USTA league teams to regional and sectional recognition.
Beyond tennis, Tracy relishes time with husband Jamie and children Jayden and Jessica. An enterprising spirit led her to Thirty-One Sales and Color Street Stylist roles.
Tracy’s legacy at Village Glen is a testament to dedication, versatility, and commitment. Her journey epitomizes the resolve to embrace challenges and soar to new horizons.
Deb Castellan

Deb Castellan, Front Counter Supervisor
Deb, affectionately known as “the witty emailer,” joined us in 1994 as a Front Desk employee. Over the years, she has donned numerous hats, including Front Desk Supervisor, Contract Court Coordinator, Operations Supervisor, Child Care Supervisor, Member Services Representative, Marketing and Advertising Assistant, Buffalo Bills Tennis Futures Tournament (Presented by Channel 2) Director’s Assistant, Vending/Pro Shop Inventory Representative, and even a Maintenance Crew Member. Her versatility is truly remarkable and indispensable to the club.
Armed with a rare blend of wit and gentle sarcasm, Deb deftly manages the Front Desk while orchestrating an array of covert behind-the-scenes operations. Aptly earning her nickname, she’s the ingenious “Witty Emailer,” masterminding engaging member communications such as “VG At A Glance” and other creative endeavors.
Deb finds genuine joy in welcoming customers with a warm smile. Beyond her role, she relishes time with her husband Rob, engaging in cottage renovations, playing tennis, visiting family in Rochester, and cherishing moments with their kids – Calista, Zoey, Max, and Lexie.
Krissy Sirface

Krissy Sirface, Asst. Front Counter Supervisor
Krissy joined the Village Glen team in September 2016, and her vibrant presence has been a cherished addition. While her tennis court exploits are limited, we’re excited to shift that narrative. However, a word of caution: if she proposes a friendly match, you might want to consider placing her on the opposite side of the net – especially if victory is your aim.
Beyond her role at the front desk, fondly referred to by some members, Krissy is a multifaceted individual with a range of interests. Whether she’s immersed in reading, sketching, exploring new destinations, indulging her inner geek, or engrossed in her studies, her pursuits know no bounds. Outside of her professional life, Krissy has earned recognition for her charitable endeavors, occasionally transforming into beloved characters from Disney, Marvel, or DC universes to brighten charitable services.
If you find yourself with a spare moment during your visit, don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation with Krissy. Her genuine enthusiasm for interacting with club members is evident, and she takes delight in connecting with the diverse array of individuals who grace our establishment. We’re thrilled to share that Krissy has been promoted to the role of Assistant Front Counter Supervisor, a testament to her dedication and the valuable contributions she brings to our community.

Dolly has been an integral part of the VG family since 2012. After a brief sojourn of a year and a half in Houston, TX, she returned to us, resuming her role as the Delightful Dolly we know and appreciate. Beyond her dedicated work at VG, Dolly’s life revolves around her cherished family, often seen bustling around with her young and utterly adorable son, Heru.
During her rare moments of respite, Dolly finds solace in the pages of a book and the allure of travel, both of which resonate deeply with her. Additionally, her heart beats for sports, with a special affinity for the Buffalo Bills. Dolly’s vibrant presence and infectious enthusiasm enrich our community, making her a beloved member of the VG family.

Jessica became an esteemed member of our VG family in February 2014, a role she effortlessly balances alongside her full-time position as a dedicated veterinary assistant. Her commitment to our community shines as she continues to contribute on a part-time basis as well. Jessica is a true embodiment of versatility.
Armed with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Villa Maria, she passionately immerses herself in the theater world, often embarking on journeys to the vibrant theater scene of NYC. Jessica’s multifaceted talents extend to event photography, capturing the essence of weddings, parties, and more. As a freelance modeling photographer and book cover designer, she further showcases her artistic prowess.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Jessica revels in the joys of family life, embracing cherished moments with her fiancé, Dave, and their two teenage boys, alongside their lovable Great Pyrenees, Belle. Amidst the whirlwind, she finds solace in reading and, true to her engaging nature, indulges in spirited conversations with our valued members at the front desk. Jessica’s radiant presence and diverse interests enrich our VG family in immeasurable ways.

In 2017, Nancy Lazar gracefully entered the Village Glen fold as a tennis enthusiast, culminating a remarkable 30-year career in childcare. Driven by her passion for tennis, Nancy took a leap of faith, intertwining her affection for the sport with a newfound professional chapter. Her journey led her to the front desk at South Towns Tennis Club, marking the convergence of her dual interests.
When Nancy wasn’t diligently serving at STTC, her heart resonated on the courts of VG, where she engaged in spirited matches almost daily. Her spirited camaraderie with both members and staff flourished, an affinity that ultimately blossomed into something delightfully delicious – her renowned homemade cookies, lovingly shared with us all. This delightful gesture paved her path to the VG front desk, a role she seamlessly embraced.
Between her tennis pursuits and her work that transcends between both clubs, Nancy finds solace in strolls, the immersive world of literature, and treasured moments with her beloved family. An ever-present joy is the aroma of freshly baked cookies, a delightful treat she extends to her VG family. Nancy’s journey stands as a testament to her ability to blend her passions into an enriching life chapter that resonates throughout our community.

Eager to contribute to her community, Cheryl sought employment at the Village Glen, aiming to maintain a meaningful connection to the place that holds a special significance in the Village of Williamsville. Her enthusiasm for people and her commitment to providing assistance make her a valuable addition to the community. Cheryl’s daily life revolves around spreading positivity, reflecting her belief in the power of optimism.
While tennis may not be a part of Cheryl’s future plans, she enthusiastically embraces the emerging Pickleball craze, anticipating enjoyable moments on the court. Beyond her recreational pursuits, Cheryl dedicates her off-time to wildlife rehabilitation, holding a license for New York State. She actively participates in the care of local wildlife, concurrently fostering domestic animals until they are ready for adoption through a non-profit animal rescue organization. Cheryl’s multifaceted involvement underscores her commitment to community, wildlife, and the well-being of both people and animals, creating a well-rounded and compassionate presence at the Village Glen.

Since 2009, Gary has been an integral part of the Village Glen and South Towns’ team. Serving as the Maintenance Manager, Gary is dedicated to ensuring the impeccable condition of our indoor and outdoor facilities. If you don’t happen to spot him, rest assured that everything is in excellent shape!
During his leisure time, Gary finds joy in outdoor activities, including tending to his garden, grilling, and indulging in his passion for hunting. Beyond his maintenance role, Gary is an avid supporter of his hometown teams, the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, adding a touch of community spirit to his interests.

Andrea Toczek, Office Supervisor
A South Towns Club member since 2005, Andrea’s vibrant, fun-loving personality brings joy to all. With a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College and a master’s in science education from the University at Buffalo, she’s a valuable member of the management team. Currently handling back-office tasks and front counter duties part-time, she’s your go-to for Reserved Courts, tennis gear, and navigating Club Automation software. Beyond the club, she, along with her husband and three kids, relishes camping and outdoor adventures.
Elizabeth Langswager

Elizabeth Langswager, Front Manager
Meet Elizabeth, our Thursday evening front desk staff at South Towns Tennis Club. A graduate of SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology (2012), Elizabeth has a diverse range of passions. An enthusiast of the outdoors, she also finds joy in activities like painting, hand lettering, singing, and exploring the realm of science. Her home in West Seneca is shared with her husband, two lively daughters, and their two beloved dogs.

A familiar and friendly presence, Les is a long-standing South Towns member and player. After overseeing customer service at FedEx Trade Networks until his retirement in 2011, Les became a part of our front counter team in 2013. He’s here to help with your club inquiries, comments, and concerns. Beyond his involvement in tennis, Les finds joy in reading, gardening, golfing, and even participating in live theater. Alongside his wife Carol, he eagerly embraces new travel adventures.

Since September 2014, Cindy has been a valued part-time member of the South Towns Tennis Club team. Having retired from a distinguished 35-year career as a Project Manager at M&T Bank in 2020, Cindy brings a wealth of experience. Her delight in meeting new people and assisting customers is evident. Outside of work, Cindy relishes moments with family and friends, finds solace in reading, and has a passion for exploring new destinations through travel.

Outside of her tennis and dual-club responsibilities, Nancy finds joy in walks, reading, quality time with her family, and of course, indulging us with her delectable cookies. Her multifaceted contributions truly embody the spirit of our tennis community.

A true Buffalo native, Joe’s roots run deep in the city. After dedicating 38 years to the U.S. Postal Service, he’s now relishing retirement while staying active with a part-time role. Tennis has been Joe’s lifelong companion, a journey that began at the tender age of 10. Now settled comfortably at STTC, he’s also embraced pickleball, thriving at various levels of play. Joe’s not only a fixture at the front counter, but also a wealth of knowledge on the game, always ready to share insights.
In his personal life, Joe’s a loving husband and father of three grown children, and he’s already enjoying the rewards of grandparenthood with three grandchildren. His interests span from binge-watching streaming services to engaging in spirited card games with friends. Dining out is a pleasure, and he keeps a watchful eye on the world of cryptocurrency. Joe’s diverse pursuits paint a vibrant picture of a well-lived life.
